Upcoming Community Meetings
✅ Sept 23 6:30-8pm: Community Meeting at Birchwood Elementary School.
🗣️September’s speaker will be George Mustoe, a retired geology instructor at Western and THE local authority on the Bellingham coal mines, will talk about the Birchwood coal mines; their history and geological relevance. George has stories from interviews he did with coal miners and you will be able to locate your house in relation to the underground coal mines. You won't want to miss it!
✅ Oct 28 6:30-8pm: Community Meeting and Board Elections at Birchwood Elementary School.
Your Birchwood Neighborhood Association usually has five community meetings per year, which are generally held the fourth Tuesday of the September, October, January, March, and May from 6:30-8:00 pm. We send out email reminders to alert you, so make sure you sign up below!
All community meetings are held in the library at Birchwood Elementary School (3200 Pinewood Ave).
