Electric Meter Replacement
PSE has just informed customers in the neighborhood that the electric meters will be replaced soon. The default meter to be installed is a wireless communication meter. Here is a link from PSE on the replacement meters

The increased hazard and loss of privacy from smart meters may be concerning to some. PSE does offer a 'non-communicating' meter that requires a meter reader to come out and read in the old style. You need to contact PSE to request this and you will be sent some paperwork to sign and switched to bi-monthly billing with a $15 fee per bill ($7.50/month).
